My M O M | My B E S T F R I E N D

My mom is seriously one of my biggest fans and supporters in my life!  She's always telling me I can do anything I set my mind to and achieve any goal I want!  She's not only my mom, but also my best friend and sister in Christ Jesus!  I can tell her anything and everything that's going on in my life and she's always there to help through it and talk faith with me!  I love spending time with her and getting to know her even more!  I feel like every moment we share is a precious moment in time and a special moment I'll always hold dear to my heart :)

H A I R

First off I just wanna say how much I love and enjoy doing hair.  It's such a beautiful form of art to me and an expression of myself.  And thanks to my besties for letting me practice and showcase my hair styles on them :)  This is a hairstyle I tried out on my roomie Lexi!  Such a beauty she is and I'm so thankful for her friendship!

I started by french braiding her front hair til about her ears then did a regular braid the rest of the way until I got to the ends.  Then I pulled the braid apart a bit to make it a little bigger and fuller.  Next I pinned the braid over to the other side of her head and secured it with a bobby pin.  I did the same thing to the other side and voila!  A beautiful half up braided hairstyle!  Hope you all enjoyed this post and feel free to comment on it!

Just the Beginning

Yes!  Summer is finally here!  I think we could all use a break from the constant school mode we're in everyday.  It was so much fun being able to go home today and cheer on my cousin as he walked across the graduation stage!  I still can't believe it happened, I mean it seems like yesterday that was me and he was just starting out high school and now look at us.  Time flies that's for sure.  And a big thing that's changed for me since high school is deciding what I want to do with my life!  I mean I'm in college and going to graduate soon and I'm still having a hard time deciding what to do.
I do know one thing for sure, though.  I really love doing hair!  Seriously, it just makes me happy to see other people happy with the way they look!  I know I'm in school right now as a Political Science major and all, but I think becoming a hairstylist may just be my calling.  Who knows?!  There's still so much to think about when it comes to my future, but I thought I would at least share some pictures of a few hairstyles I'm trying out.  Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day :)

Man's Best Friend

Oh my gosh it's been forever since I was on here!  Sorry about that I guess I just got caught up in school and work and life in general.  It's been pretty busy, but I'm back and today's post is all about my furry little baby, Scamp!  He's an eight year old shih tzu, yorkie mix with the most adorable face I have ever seen!  He's seriously like the love of my life and it's been ridiculously hard moving away to Chico and being away from him.  I do, however, get to see the little fella every time I go visit my family and I always come prepared with a camera to capture all of the precious moments.  So here are a few of the many pictures I have of my precious pup and me!  Hope you all get as much joy out of these as I do and have a wonderfully blessed week! :)

He loves just lounging around the house.  I'm pretty sure relaxing and finding the most comfortable position is his favorite pastime.

Black and Blue

Hey there everybody!! Hope you that you're all having a wonderfully blessed day today :) I just thought I would share an outfit that I wore a few days ago when it was raining and I finally got to test out my new rainboots!! God Loves You

Hey guys!! I know it's been awhile since I posted anything new, sorry about that.  I've been super busy with school and deadlines like I'm sure is true for all of you students out there.  Anyways today while I was at school I was walking through campus noticing how beautiful of a day it was outside and couldn't help but give thanks to God.  It's been a pretty rough week so far and it's only Tuesday, but honesty whenever I'm reading my Bible or spending time in fellowship with my fellow believers I tend to forget about all the negative that's happening around me and then I find that it's not hard to find joy and actually become happy through whatever trials and hardships get thrown our way.  Praise be to our God! A God that loves and cherishes us even when we're at our lowest and who lifts us up when we're down and tells us WE ARE WORTH IT!! I just thought I would go ahead and share that thought of mine with all of you cuz you never know when someone may need a little word of encouragement.  Hope you all have a blessed tomorrow and remember Jesus loves you :)

Army Green and Stripes

Hey there guys!! So I woke up this morning with the ambition to get my butty to the park and walk my dog maybe take some pics of God's beautiful creation, buuttttt then I sat down on the couch and opened up my laptop and just never found the energy to get back up.  Darn it maybe another day I suppose, but I did manage to make it to the movies with my beautiful mom :) Here's some pics of the outfit I put together sorry about my gross hair I just couldn't find it in me to actually take the shower this morning lol.  P.S. we went to see American Sniper and it was fabulous!!
